Kezia has a varied practice as a key member of our specialist employment law group and is part of our Trusts & Asset Planning team.
Kezia joined WRMK in 2019 for a Summer Clerkship. In 2020, Kezia began work at the firm full-time in our litigation team, specialising in all aspects of employment law and workplace investigations. Kezia continues to advise and represent clients in this area.
More recently Kezia has moved to our Trust and Asset planning team and has begun to assist and advise clients on:
- making applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988; and
- trust and life planning matters (including retirement village work, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Wills, Charitable Trusts, trust formations and administration).
ABOUT Kezia
Kezia has lived locally in Whangarei most of her life. In her spare time, you will find her exploring the many beaches our beautiful region has to offer. She also enjoys camping and road tripping around Northland.
RECENT EXPERIENCE
- Undertaking a workplace investigation in a large department of a national organisation to resolve allegations of bullying and harassment.
- Making applications to the Family Court on complex matters under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988, including aiding in the repatriation of a foreign citizen to their home country after they lost capacity in New Zealand.
- Providing relevant and unbiased legal advice to employers about a proposed course of action which sets out potential risks and benefits.
- Providing independent advice on Enduring Powers of Attorney.
