Kezia is part of our trusts & life planning team and also has a background in employment law.

Kezia joined WRMK Lawyers as a Summer Clerk in 2019. After completing her studies and graduating in 2020, she returned as a Law Clerk in the litigation team, specialising in all aspects of employment law and workplace investigations.

Now a Senior Lawyer in our trusts and life planning team, Kezia advises clients on:

  • making applications under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988; and
  • trust and life planning matters, including Wills, Enduring Powers of Attorney, trust formation and administration, and retirement village work.

Kezia also continues to advise and represent clients on employment law matters from time to time.

ABOUT Kezia

Kezia has lived locally in Whangarei most of her life. In her spare time, you will find her fishing or exploring the many beaches our beautiful region has to offer.

RECENT EXPERIENCE

  • Undertaking workplace investigations in large departments of national organisations to resolve allegations of bullying and harassment.
  • Making applications to the Family Court on complex matters under the Protection of Personal and Property Rights Act 1988, including aiding in the repatriation of a foreign citizen to their home country after they lost capacity in New Zealand.
  • Providing independent advice on Enduring Powers of Attorney and Occupation Right Agreements.
  • Advising numerous clients on winding up, varying or restructuring their trusts and trust disputes.
