George is a Lawyer in our Dispute Resolution team.
George is a skilled civil litigator with experience representing both individuals and businesses across a range of disputes. He has a strong background in debt enforcement, shareholder and trust litigation, and relationship property disputes, and brings an efficient, analytical approach to complex legal matters. He has appeared alongside senior counsel in a $26 million shareholder dispute and has independently represented clients in debt enforcement, including overseas judgment debts, and interlocutory hearings.
ABOUT George
Originally from Auckland, George relocated to Whangarei in early 2025. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, fermenting, and watching the Blues. A passionate musician, he spends his free time making beats, playing piano, and composing choral music when the opportunity arises.
RECENT EXPERIENCE
- Assisted in and appeared alongside senior counsel in a $26M shareholder dispute spanning three and a half weeks
- Provided advice on complex regulatory regimes to regulatory bodies
- Conducted a forced sale of a debtor’s property through the High Court
- Assisted in a high value relationship property dispute
- Assisted in a high-value lawsuit against a government agency concerning a novel statutory regime
