David is a Consultant in our estates and relationship property team, with extensive legal experience and a wide-ranging practice.

David has over 40 years’ experience in family law, Māori land law, property and trusts. His extensive family law practice has included parenting issues, relationship property, elder law, wills and estates. David has dealt with a wide range of Māori land issues, and has an extensive residential property practice.

David is highly regarded as an effective mediator in both family law and Māori land law matters.

David first began his legal career with Public Trust in Wellington and later became the District Solicitor in the Whangarei Office. He then worked in a local firm before practicing as a sole practitioner for more than 26 years. David joined WRMK Lawyers in 2025.
