Alice is a co team leader of our rural law team and our Dargaville office, with particular expertise in asset planning and rural matters.
She has practised law in both New Zealand and Australia including as a solicitor in Warrnambool in South West Victoria. Alice also previously worked for WRMK Lawyers’ commercial team (then known as Webb Ross) between 2006 and 2009.
Alice understands the expectations of her clients and is known for her practical advice and friendly and accessible manner.
ABOUT Alice
Alice and her husband previously part-owned a dairy farm near Warrnambool (where they lived with their children for a number of years before returning to Whangarei in 2016), and are now invested in both the dairy and avocado industries. Outside of the office, Alice is a big supporter of her local community and school. She is involved in many local events and fundraisers and spends a lot of time on sport sidelines!
RECENT EXPERIENCE
- Buying and selling rural businesses – Alice’s clients have been very grateful for her pragmatic and effective approach to managing the increasing warranty and other obligations associated with the sale of dairy farms.
- Asset planning – streamlining and simplifying trust and structural arrangements for a number of clients with assets spread across multiple and various structures.
