Melanie is a Legal Executive in our trusts and asset planning team in Whangārei.
Her work encompasses wills, enduring powers of attorney, trusts and life planning, and deceased estate administration.
Law is Melanie’s second career. She first joined the firm as its marketing manager in 2019, having spent over a decade focused on marketing and communications predominantly within the legal profession.
In 2022, Melanie decided to learn the ropes of working in the law from the ground up, starting as a Legal Assistant in WRMK Lawyers’ employment law team, and later gaining her Legal Executive Diploma and moving into the trusts & asset planning team.
Melanie is a strong advocate for using Plain English, and still acts as a marketing consultant and copywriter for WRMK Lawyers on occasion.

Outside of work, Melanie loves to be outdoors with her horses or in the caravan with her family.
