Todd is a member of our criminal law team, and is based primarily in the Kerikeri office.

Todd has more than five years’ experience in practice with a strong focus in criminal litigation. He enjoys the cut and thrust of Courtroom advocacy and enjoys trial and appellate work. Todd has won a number of trials, both before a Judge alone and before a Jury. He has also won a number of High Court appeals on bail, sentence and conviction.

Todd began his legal career summarising cases for lexisnexis’ casebase digest project before starting practice with D J Blaikie Kaikohe, where he practiced for more than two years. Todd then moved to Wellington where he worked at the Wellington Public Defence Service for the last three and a half years before deciding to make his return home to the North.
